I hate wishing the time away but I am at that point now where I cannot wait for some warmer weather. We have had some amazing snow, which was a novelty but it is just so cold outside right now. During the lockdown months I have spent a lot of time outside but it certainly is the least pleasant on the colder days. I am craving warmth, not having to wear my hat or wrap up warm. I’m thinking about being able to buy clothes for going out again and even for staying in, would like some more spring-like loungewear. Joggers and loungewear have been my saviour over the last few months and I’ve definitely put comfort over style on a lot of days. But what else is there to do? We are stuck in so much and there really isn’t much to do or get dressed up for still. I swear I have been writing that sentence for the last 12 months now.
So it was great to be sent some items from Femme-Luxe Finery to get me thinking about my spring-style! I’ve worked with Femme-Luxe before many times including on gaining my confidence back after pregnancy. They have a huge range of clothes to choose from, at amazing prices!
Spring Style Fashion Ideas
I chose three items from Femme-Luxe Finery on this occasion and I will show you my choices.
My first item was a Lilac V Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirt. I loved the colour of this, as it is not something I would usually wear.
It fits really well and I loved that it is a cropped, as fits really well with my high waisted jeans, which I live in. I’m quite small-chested and it looks good in that region too! The top comes in sizes 6-14 and is currently retailing at only £2.99, so a complete bargain!!
Definitely worth checking out for some spring-vibes!
My second item was a White Cropped Denim Jacket.
I think this will be brilliant in the warmer months with a tee and my high-waisted jeans or even a long skirt and sandals, as we move into the summer months. I chose a size 10 and it was a comfortable fit. The tops range from size 6 to 16 and the jacket currently retails at £19.99. As you can see it looks great with the previous lilac cropped tee I was wearing.
My third and final item was some more loungewear but lighter and more fitted. I chose this Pink Ribbed Belted Loungewear Set.
I love the colour of this and it fits really well. It’s light and comfortable and a little more stylish that just wearing joggers. It comes in sizes 8-16 and currently retails at £21.99. I’m wearing size 8-10, which is a small. It’s perfect for around the house and doing a spot of cleaning (or lounging!).
I’m really looking forward to the warmer weather. Who knows if lockdown measures may still be in place but I know we can at least look forward to time in the garden, playing out and going for walks in the woods.
